Digitization of the Business Creation Process

EDBM, in partnership with public institutions and technical and financial partners, is modernizing its one-stop shop. The goal: achieving "zero paper" in the business creation process (for both companies and sole proprietorships) and establishing a unique business identifier. The first version of the online platform was planned for the first quarter of 2021.

Customs provisions to facilitate market access

Thanks to its eligibility for AGOA (United States) and the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) with the European Union, Madagascar benefits from duty-free preferential market access. These reforms have boosted exports: +12.8% to the United States and +44.6% to the EU in 2016.
